UTB/TSC – ITECC Campus Master Plan, Cooling Tower Replacement, and Central Plant Renovation and Expansion Details

Location: Brownsville, TX

Provided commissioning verifications for the International Technology, Education and Commerce Campus (ITECC) of the University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College for the conversion of a 680,000 sq.ft. retail mall into a state-of-the-art technical training, commerce, and educational center. The master plan provided a basis of design for a 3,000-Ton central plant which allows for consolidation of satellite plants and a large quantity of DX/unitary systems. The new plant provides state-of-the-art efficiency and sustainability, as well as growth capability. Through a carefully phased and orchestrated design, full central plant operation was maintained during construction.
