History Located in Austin, Texas, Tom Green & Company Engineers, Inc. (TGCE) was established in 1985 by Thomas F. Green, P.E. Since its inception, TGCE has continually maintained its founding principles of excellence and innovation in all endeavors, from the services it provides to the designs it creates to the methods it uses for internal management, quality control, and leadership. It is a firm with ownership at all levels, committed to its principles throughout each project and over the long haul. Experience We have more than two decades of experience in designing, consulting, and commissioning, and we offer a complete array of planning, analysis and mechanical, electrical, & plumbing engineering services. Our extensive experience covers both public and private sector Owners, including universities, state agencies, primary and secondary schools, municipalities, counties, churches, manufacturers, hospitals, developers, and others. Our experience spans from small, specific function renovations, to very large additions and renovations, to new facilities. We have also designed many sustainable projects including LEED Projects at all levels, from “Certified” to “Platinum.” In fact, the majority of our employees are recognized as LEED Accredited Professionals by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
The present members of our technical staff were integral to the project history described here-in. Thus the experience record we offer is resident to our firm.
